Problem Behavior (for the owners, please leave your dogs at home for this class!)
Barking, digging, jumping, biting, chewing furniture, chewing the leash, begging and more.  Understanding what’s behind these behaviors and what you can do to solve them.

March 11th
Lie Down
Learn how to get a fast lie down despite distractions and in different environments.

March 18th
Stay Command
Let’s teach your puppy how to hold that sit, lie down, or to stay in any command despite distractions and in different environments

March 25th
Drop It/Leave It
Want your puppy to drop the toy or leave the garbage on the side of the road? Let’s give you the tools to create a fast and reliable drop it and leave it.

April 1st

Easter Weekend

April 8th
Patience Training and Impulse Control
Biting, Jumping up at strangers, lunging for toys and treats. I want, I want, I want! Teach your puppy that being patient and calm pays off.

April 15th
Come When Called
Recall is one of the most important safety commands to have and this class will help you get a head start

April 22nd
Loose Leash Walking
Is your puppy pulling on the leash or struggling to walk next to you calmly? Let us give you the tools to accomplish this in a positive and fun way.

April 29th
Sit Command
How to get a fast sit from your pup the first time you say it, despite distractions and different environments.

May 6th
Aggression Prevention
Educate yourself and your pup so that you never have to deal with any aggression or reactivity in the future and how to manage situations with other dogs that may be dangerous

May 13th
Teaching Focus
“Squirrel!!” Help your pup learn that paying attention to you despite other distractions is totally worth it and how earning their focus can strengthen your relationship of respect

May 20th
May Long Weekend, No Class

May 27th
Fun Tricks
Teaching your pup some fun tricks is a great opportunity to bond with them, build trust and have fun.  Do not underestimate the value of having your dog know how to do tricks on command, it’s another way to connect with them and earn their focus and interest.

June 3rd
Place Command (please bring your dogs bed!)
Learning to settle down on their bed and relax so you can also have time to relax =)

June 10th

June 10th will be our last class at this location.  Our basic obedience classes are now taking place at the Royal Oak Bosleys store but as a pre-registered five-week course.   Please click on the button below to find out more information. 

Sundays Outdoor Group Socialization Walk


Every Sundays location is held at Different Locations 

April 15th

1:00pm @ Silver City Cinema behind Tillicum Mall.  If you are facing the cinema we will meet at the little grassy area to your right, we will walk through the trails of Cuthbert Holmes Park

April 22nd
1:00 @ East Side of Mount Douglas
Meet at the Mount Douglas main parking located along Churchill Drive

April 29th

12:30pm at Esquimalt Gorge Park off Tillicum Road (the larger Gorge Park also known as Kinsmen Gorge Park)

May 6th
12:30pm @ Layritz Park, meet at the main parking lot at the very end of Layritz Avenue.  Turning off Wilkinson Rd. on to Glyn Rd, and right on to Layritz Avenue.

May 13th
12:30pm @ Brydon Park, parking by the Saanich Tennis Club at the end of Viewmont Ave.
