We've been taking out puppy to BabyDog's socialization classes. Both the puppy and I learned a lot! We found Ruth to be very knowledgeable and helpful - enough so that we ended up registering for a private training session and an obedience class through BabyDog, both also taught by Ruth. Our puppy has learned a ton and so have we. Throughout the entire process Ruth has been wonderful, and we can't recommend her and BabyDog enough!

Aviva was great with our young dog Luna! She was very knowledgable and had great suggestions with everything we asked her about. Our dog deals with a variety of issues (over sensitivity, hyperactive, aggression, fear etc.) and each week we threw her something new that Luna was dealing with and she knew right away how to help us and give us the tools to help our dog. I would recommend her to anyone!

If you’re looking for puppy training, you can stop now. You’ve found the best. My pup, Zion, a three-month-old Bernese Mountain Dog, has gained more in his training sessions with Baby Dog than I could possibly have accomplished on my own. Like any over-functioning pup parent, I read the books, listened to the podcasts, and watched the YouTube videos. None of that compared to the information, coaching, and motivation we received from our trainer, Danika. Each week, Danika presented us with new training tools, discussed them in detail, and went though the steps with Zion. Then I would make my attempts, with Danika giving helpful tips and tricks along the way. Zion absolutely loved Danika. She was lovely with him: calm energy, engaging demeanour, and just the right amount of assertiveness when he needed it. Danika was flexible with the sessions, keeping us on track, but was also happy to answer all of my random questions. Her follow up emails were very helpful. Now that we’ve completed the beginner sessions, I plan to take a few months off, then attend the intermediate classes. Danika has given us so much to work with, and I look forward to watching Zion develop his skills then show them off when we meet again!

Ruth and Aviva of BabyDog are a fantastic resource for new puppy owners. We took our timid puppy Jazz to their shy dog socialization sessions at Bosleys and after a few weeks she graduated (with flying colours) to the regular sessions. We partipated in the Sunday pack walks and enjoyed both the human social aspect and the improvement in Jazz’s social behaviour. We also had 2 private lessons with Aviva to deal with a couple of problem behaviours (leash pulling and barking), with great success! I highly recommend them.

Would highly recommend both the puppy socialization and basic obedience class. Our trainer Meg was with us all throughout. She is so knowledgeable, thorough, and just brought a wonderful energy to every class. Bailor and I are going to miss our Sunday afternoons with her!

Meg was an excellent trainer. She presents very well, and is extremely passionate with people and dogs. She has a natural affinity to the dogs, and it’s obvious she loves her job. We’re looking forward to taking another class with Meg or Baby dog trainers.

I highly recommend BabyDog's puppy socialization classes and weekly group classes. Our Golden Retriever is 9 months old now and we use the tips and tricks learnt in our classes on a daily basis. (Our dog is sitting next to me as I type this review and she wholeheartedly agrees that the time invested at BabyDog was well worth it.)

We just completed the intermediate training with Ruth and couldn't be more happy with the results. Ruth's passion, expertise and patience shines in her training. Our puppy is easily distracted and has a hard time settling after a distraction event. After the first class there was a significant improvement which only continued as the classes progressed. I am very happy with the results and would recommend this class to those who want to learn the skills for a happy dog life!

Meg was great with our goldendoodle Enzo! He caught on quick thanks to Meg's clear and kind instructions during the Level 1 obedience group classes, and we're making progress between classes too. We will be joining Level 2 group classes or consider private classes in the near future for sure! Meg was also super empathetic not only with the dogs but with us, the humans, and provided great feedback and tips!

Aviva has done amazing work helping my fear reactive dog come out of his shell. I have also worked in the past with BabyDog in puppy obedience classes, which were amazing. Highly recommend!

Had a great time training our puppy with BabyDog. We have seen fantastic results and the training truly got my partner and I on the same page. We will continue using BabyDog and have booked private sessions to further her training.

We had private training sessions with Aviva to help us with our puppy. Aviva helped us all so much with the tools to continue to work with daily. It was amazing watching our puppy learn so much during those sessions.We looked forward to each session and we highly recommend Babydog. Our puppy has severe anziety with strangers and dogs and watching her work through this was absolutely amazing !

Dusty, a 20 month old Coton de Tulear, was attacked by a dog at Island View. He became reactive after this and we needed help. We brought Aviva to help Dusty and ourselves and it was such a pleasure to observe Aviva's knowledge, insight and skill in helping with Dusty's problem. We all learned a lot and Dusty is well on his way to recovery because of Aviva. Thank you Aviva, it's been such a pleasure to have you involved and Dusty loved you immediately.
