We’re so grateful to have found Aviva at BabyDog to help with our two-year-old rescue from Mexico. She went above and beyond to tailor her training to exactly what we needed. From the start, she listened carefully to our goals and truly understood what we wanted to achieve with our dog. The transformation in our dog has been amazing, and we feel much more confident in our own training skills as well. For anyone looking to make a meaningful, lasting change in their dog’s behaviour, we can’t recommend Aviva highly enough!

Took our pup to socialization classes for several months. What she and we learned there was invaluable to create a friendly we’ll socialized young dog. The information learned at the classes continue to help us train our dog even though she’s aged out of the class. The weekly news letters we continue to receive are also extremely useful with great information on caring for and training our dog. Recommend Baby Dog very highly.

We brought our puppy Lola to Level 1 Obedience class with Meg. She was an incredible instructor. She explained and demonstrated the training clearly and was fun and patient. She always checked in to see if we had questions and was also happy to answer questions outside the curriculum. When we had missed a class, she took the time to show us what we had missed. We learned a lot and were so impressed by how quickly our puppy learned each task. Taking the class with Meg helped build our confidence with training our puppy using positive reinforcement. We can’t wait to take her to Level 2!

I highly recommend Dave and Tomey K9 Services! I knew my 6 y.o. Yorkiepoo Benny wanted to please, but I didn't know where to begin to help him rein in all of his energy around people and reactivity around other dogs. Dave taught me how to use redirection and positive reinforcement to help Benny become more obedient and calm. Benny now looks to me to see how he should react when another dog or distraction is coming our way, and I know how to help him through what used to be anxiety provoking situations. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Thanks Dave!

Meg was an excellent trainer. She presents very well, and is extremely passionate with people and dogs. She has a natural affinity to the dogs, and it’s obvious she loves her job. We’re looking forward to taking another class with Meg or Baby dog trainers.

Engaging. I found BabyDog Aviva and Ruth to be very Engaging. Their approach in classes to both puppy and puppy owner was very attractive and pleasing in a way that holds your attention. Their stories, smiles and positive reinforcement worked for me and worked even better with my puppy. I loved how BabyDog shared their knowledge of canine behaviour, demonstrated patience in the learning process, and especially how they shared their love and joy in helping every BabyDog client become a wonderful puppy parent. Aviva and Ruth worked with my family and my puppy Cookie for over a year, and we have a dog that we are proud to take anywhere.

While I have owned dogs most of my life so far, I have never had a young puppy. Wanting to do right by her, I researched training and socialization classes. Baby Dog was the one that was recommended over and over again without hesitation. We've now been going to weekly sessions for three months and my dog while having mastered what they teach loves the class so much that we just keep coming. When I pull up in front of the class she knows what we're there for and her excitement is off the charts. Aviva and her team run amazing classes and they should be the go to for every new puppy owner in Victoria. I studied to be a dog trainer 17 years ago when considering a career change. That said, I have learned a ton from Aviva while having our pup trained and her approach and explanations are much more effective and in line with what dogs need, than what I was originally taught. We are very luck to have Baby Dog as a resource.

Between the fun puppy meet and greets and the training, this was a great time for our little Cairn Terrier. Emma was engaging, knowledgeable and excellent to work with and we couldn't be happier with the outcome!

Our dog was a handful before we met Danika Postle. Very aggressive and fearful of other dogs and people. We now have a new dog!! Danika is a wonder. Highly recommend. Very patient. The main training is the owners.

We have thoroughly enjoyed both the puppy socialization classes and the obedience classes. The trainers are excellent with dogs AND people - always on time, professional, and knowledgeable.

Aviva and BabyDog have a wonderful combination of technical training ability and a true love of dogs. This shows in everything they do-- private training, group classes, walks, and communicating with the pet's owners. I recommend them any time I can.
