Awesome trainers! Really help your dog receive a positive start.

Dusty, a 20 month old Coton de Tulear, was attacked by a dog at Island View. He became reactive after this and we needed help. We brought Aviva to help Dusty and ourselves and it was such a pleasure to observe Aviva's knowledge, insight and skill in helping with Dusty's problem. We all learned a lot and Dusty is well on his way to recovery because of Aviva. Thank you Aviva, it's been such a pleasure to have you involved and Dusty loved you immediately. If you’re looking for puppy training, you can stop now. You’ve found the best. My pup, Zion, a three-month-old Bernese Mountain Dog, has gained more in his training sessions with Baby Dog than I could possibly have accomplished on my own. Like any over-functioning pup parent, I read the books, listened to the podcasts, and watched the YouTube videos. None of that compared to the information, coaching, and motivation we received from our trainer, Danika. Each week, Danika presented us with new training tools, discussed them in detail, and went though the steps with Zion. Then I would make my attempts, with Danika giving helpful tips and tricks along the way. Zion absolutely loved Danika. She was lovely with him: calm energy, engaging demeanour, and just the right amount of assertiveness when he needed it. Danika was flexible with the sessions, keeping us on track, but was also happy to answer all of my random questions. Her follow up emails were very helpful. Now that we’ve completed the beginner sessions, I plan to take a few months off, then attend the intermediate classes. Danika has given us so much to work with, and I look forward to watching Zion develop his skills then show them off when we meet again!

Babydog was a huge help both for training and socializing my pup. They gave me a big headstart on training Chilkoot. Most trainers won't start working with pets until they're 6 months or more. By then mine had a good foundation. I would definitely recommend.

BabyDog and their team of trainers offer the most knowledgable and skilled dog training sessions or puppy classes in Victoria/Greater Victoria! In my experience, they always amazed me with their expertise at helping humans and dog develop a better connection. Highly recommend!

Dave was such a huge help in getting our 8 month old Shiba's fear barking under control. Despite doing our best to socialize him when he was young, he for some reason developed a fear of people and would bark uncontrollably if he was surprised by someone. We read several books and watched tons of Youtube videos in an effort to address it, but couldn't get any traction. Dave was able to help us get it under control in just a few sessions. While he doesn't exactly "like" people, he is now a quiet and confident dog around them. What a difference! I'd highly recommend their puppy socialization classes at Bosley's as well.

My pup is about to age out of the puppy socialization class. She has learned so much. I am proud of how much she has accomplished through this program. It has made her much easier to live with. Thank you Baby Dog. We have also attended the Sunday dog walk. Hopefully, we will get to kore of these to keep the connection.

I took our puppy Yodel to the socialization classes for almost 4 months. I found it extremely helpful and I learned a lot about how puppies interact and what different body language signals mean. Avila is very knowledgeable about dog behaviours.

BabyDog was recommended to me by a friend and now I am in a position to recommend them to my friends and family. I contacted BabyDog for private sessions to help me improve my puppy’s impulse control. My Jack Russell Terrier had a terrible habit of picking things up and eating them - everything. Even dangerous things. I was at the point where I felt I could not keep him safe and I was considering rehoming him. The Baby Dog trainer and I worked slowly and methodically building a strong foundation of impulse control commands such as no, leave it, drop it, sit/stay, and place. We added one or two new skills every week. As my pup improved we worked on walking skills and recall. Everything finally came together and now my pup lives safely and happily, as a member of our family, and loves training every day. I am so pleased with my investment in my dog and my partnership with BabyDog. Their training methodology is science-based, gentle, kind, and it has proven itself effective for my dog. I found the trainer to be knowledgeable, skilled, patient, and kind. She was an excellent communicator for both handler and puppy. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with her, gaining confidence in my ability to teach my pup and his capacity to learn. My dog and I are now a team, training every day, and continuing to solidify the skills we have learned. I am a BabyDog customer for life.

Danika is very professional, and encouraging in ensuring you get the value for the training. She was able to address behavioral issues with my puppy and was able to provide effective solutions. More importantly, she provided tips on how to train humans and little humans on proper dog handling.

We took our puppy to Babydog at Bosleys it is 100% worth the 10 dollars for a drop in socialization class. We loved it so much we went 3 times a week for months. It really does help you learn your dogs body language, and getting to hold other peoples adorable puppies is priceless. If you like puppies you will love babydog

Me and River loved our meeting with Emma today. River is napping...as she does, but this nap looks extra good. We both learned lots and some things I didn't expect. I feel so reassured in developing a healthy relationship of River bitting her toys and all the alternatives Emma showed us and some I have already been doing like redirecting. In many ways I feel like I got more out of the training to support a healthy positive relationship with my puppy. I feel grateful to have started. And....everything is YES.... Emma trained me well!!!

I have brought two pups to the socialization classes with Baby Dog. They are awesome! Very knowledgeable and professional, always managing what’s going on with the dogs and genuinely seem to love what they do!

I've had my rescue dog now for about five weeks...and have found the drop-in group obedience classes, and outdoor group socialization walks invaluable in learning to communicate with my loving pooch. Aviva (and her other trainers) highlight the need to reinforce positive behaviours in the training process. This is a far cry from the "NO!" and "Bad DOG!" comments that you hear from owners who are not aware of the positive behaviour modification skills that you learn through Baby Dog training. I invited a friend of mine and her dog to join Samson and I on one of the pet socialization walks. She was amazed how much you could learn on just one walk, and how it opened her eyes to the training that can yield so many positive results. Thank you Aviva and Baby Dog..!
