Aviva was an excellent trainer. My dogs are walking better and becoming less reactive to other dogs. I have noticed a real difference
Dusty, a 20 month old Coton de Tulear, was attacked by a dog at Island View. He became reactive after this and we needed help. We brought Aviva to help Dusty and ourselves and it was such a pleasure to observe Aviva's knowledge, insight and skill in helping with Dusty's problem. We all learned a lot and Dusty is well on his way to recovery because of Aviva. Thank you Aviva, it's been such a pleasure to have you involved and Dusty loved you immediately. You have special talents which are much appreciated.
Great dog behaviour knowledge, we learned so much about calming signals. Aviva is amazing. Can't wait to go back for more classes.
When I was being challenged by training my large teenage Golden, I asked Aviva to help me get back on track. We had taken him to puppy socialization previously and knew Aviva would be the trainer that could help us because of her experience and the gentle but firm way she has with dogs. I learned what I needed to do in order to have Monte pay attention and listen to me. We have a much calmer dog now that he respects me as a leader. Thank you, Aviva, you gave me practical and simple things to do so I could be successful with him and consistency and practice have really paid off. Our lives have changed for the better!
We had private training sessions with Aviva to help us with our puppy. Aviva helped us all so much with the tools to continue to work with daily. It was amazing watching our puppy learn so much during those sessions. We looked forward to each session and we highly recommend Babydog. Our puppy has severe anziety with strangers and dogs and watching her work through this was absolutely amazing !
Aviva was great with our young dog Luna! She was very knowledgable and had great suggestions with everything we asked her about. Our dog deals with a variety of issues (over sensitivity, hyperactive, aggression, fear etc.) and each week we threw her something new that Luna was dealing with and she knew right away how to help us and give us the tools to help our dog. I would recommend her to anyone!
Aviva and BabyDog have a wonderful combination of technical training ability and a true love of dogs. This shows in everything they do-- private training, group classes, walks, and communicating with the pet's owners. I recommend them any time I can.
Baby Dog…I must say, having had dogs all of my life, showing, training, and competing, taking my new young “man” to baby socialization classes was brilliant! Baby Dog taught me a lot as well. I love that they teach and use positive reinforcement philosophy for training. As we encountered some growing pain challenges, particularly with “focusing”, I took advantage of a few private lessons that were spot on! Aviva knew which tool to pull out of her tool box to assist with our particular challenges. Thank you Aviva and Co for all that you do and offer! I have a dog who loves to work, is engaged and focused, and who interacts respectfully with other canines! I highly recommend Baby Dog…for your young pup, as well as your “mature” pup.
